2020 Off-season!

The Future of Baseball is here and so are you. See how you'll be using technology this off-season to improve your skills.

Your Future Awaits!

Driveline Traq allows Force coaches to assign workouts to players, as well as integrate all of their measurements. Players access their Traq profile to complete their at home works and monitor their progressions.

4D Motion is a bio-mechanical sensor system for body-specific or full body capture. It supplies bio-feedback training, Kinematic sequence analysis, Functional swing plane, Bat path analysis and much more.

Driveline Edge allowes you to visualize your bullpen work by seeing your actual pitches in 3D. You can compare pitches to see how they would appear tunneled. This shows how your speed, rotation and action of pitches work off of each other.

10 Minute Tag Up's are performed on Skype and are held with an individual player and parents to review their recent development and continue setting goals and individual training assignments.

Rapsodo Hitting shows a live view of each hit with bat exit velocity, launch angle, distance, spin, and exactly where the ball traveled. Players with profiles can access all of their data, charts and graphs inside their Traq profile.

OnBaseU Hitting certification gives us a deep understanding of how the Hitter's strengths and weaknesses affect their ability to perform. The screening can quickly identify any physical restrictions that may be limiting a Hitter and implement techniques to improve limitations.

Rapsodo Pitching shows a live view of each pitch with velocity, spin rate, rotation, spin, and exactly where the ball traveled. Players with profiles can access all of their data, charts and graphs inside their Traq profile.

OnBaseU Hitting certification gives us a deep understanding of how the Pitcher's strengths and weaknesses affect their ability to perform. The screening can quickly identify any physical restrictions that may be limiting a Pitcher and implement techniques to improve limitations.

Bio-mechanic Capture

See what your body is doing vs. what you think it's doing

Mechanic Analysis

Get insight into your player’s swing, pitching, body movements and measurements like never before. Establish quantifiable targets and improvement goals. Visualization for both coach and player from 3D angles, graphs etc. help for better understanding of what the body is doing vs. what it thinks it’s doing.

What it helps with

Bio-feedback training, Kinematic sequence analysis, Functional swing plane, Bat path analysis and much more. Modular sensor system for body-specific or full body capture.

Driveline Edge

Master your spin and create your dream pitches

Pitch Tunneling

Visualize your bullpen work by seeing your actual pitches in 3D. You can compare pitches to see how they would appear tunneled. This shows how your speed, rotation and action of pitches work off of each other.

Pitch Design

Create a brand new pitch or improve your current pitch by comparing your current pitch to your goal  to see what adjustments will need to be made. See them side by side.

Rapsodo Pitching Data

See what Rapsodo can measure and how it will evaluate your pitches

Velocity

How fast a pitch is traveling during flight, measured in miles per hour (MPH).

Spin Direction

The tilt or angle of the baseball from the release point, measured in degrees, created by the Magnus effect. The Magnus Effect is created by the air pressure surrounding the spinning baseball on its path to home plate.

Strike Zone Analysis

Instantly see Strike Zone feedback while automatically tracking Strike Percentage and Heatmap Breakdowns.

Release Height

The height of the ball at the point of release.

Rapsodo Pitching Machine

Spin Rate

The rate at which the ball spins during flight, measured in rotations per minute (RPM). There is a stronger correlation between spin rate and swinging-strike percentage than between velocity and swinging-strike percentage.

Spin Efficiency

The percentage of spin directly impacting the movement of a pitch. Spin Efficiency is the ratio of true spin to total spin.

3D Trajectory

The ballflight is show in two trajectories. A dotted line represents what the pitch would have done without spin and the solid line represents the actual movement of the pitch.

Release Side

The distance away from the center of the rubber from the left (-) or the right (+).

True Spin Rate

The spin directly impacting the movement of a pitch. Also known as “useful spin,” it is perpendicular to the direction the ball is traveling, deflecting the otherwise straight horizontal and vertical path of the ball.

Pitch Break

How much a ball has moved when it crosses the strike zone compared to what its position would have been without spin. Break is measured horizontally and vertically in inches.

Horizontal Angle

The horizontal angle the ball was released out of the hand from the left (-) or the right (+).

Release Angle

The vertical angle at which the ball was released out of the hand.

Exit Velocity

Exit Velocity is the speed of the baseball as it comes off the bat after contact.

Spin Rate

The rate at which the ball spins during flight after contact, measured in rotations per minute (RPM).

Launch Angle

Launch Angle is the vertical angle at which the baseball leaves the bat after contact.

Spin Direction

The tilt or angle of the baseball from the contact point, measured in degrees, created by the Magnus effect. The Magnus Effect is created by the air pressure surrounding the spinning baseball on its path from the bat.

Direction

The direction, plotted on a baseball diamond, that an in-play ball takes in flight.

3D Ball Flight

Instantly track the ball off the bat to see the actual ball flight of the projected hit.

If a student is struggling to perform, a coach’s job is to quickly identify and correct the problem. OnBaseU certification gives the coach a deep understanding of how the body’s strengths and weaknesses affect their player’s ability to perform at any level. Baseball and Softball coaches can quickly identify any physical restrictions that may be limiting a player and implement simple techniques to improve these limitations. Having the ability to connect a player’s physical abilities to their technical skills gives the coach a complete understanding of why a player does what they do.

Pitching

OnBase University’s mission is to educate players and industry professionals on The Body-Baseball or The Body-Softball relationship through its ‘OnBase Certified’ educational program. This program was developed by the expert panel of OnBase University Advisory Board members consisting of baseball and softball industry leading experts.

10 Minute Tag Up's

Personalized guidance for your Development

Connection

Once per month (more if much needed), players and their parents can have a web-call with Josh Bieneman, Larry Mosley or Anthony Mendoza. All calls are player development driven specific to that player.

Review & Planning

On the Tag Up Calls, players will review with the coaches: current skills/measurements, 30 day goals/plans and 90 day goal/plans. This is also a designed opportunity for players to ask questions they have to ensure understanding.
